A few weeks ago, I had the serious pleasure of flying west and taking engagement portraits for Maggie and Alan in Dubuque, Iowa. We started the shoot in the botanical gardens where Alan proposed, then headed to Wartburg Theological Seminary (where Maggie and Alan study) for some fall color, leaf fighting, and beautiful brickwork.  We ended the bitter cold day at the Dubuque Riverwalk for romantic portraits by the water.  If you can't tell by the photos, these two are awesome together--and they accidentally wore matching shoes.  Can you get any cuter?  Can't wait to return to Iowa for Maggie and Alan's gorgeous winter wedding!
